Interest in QGIS continues to grow across Maine as more organizations explore it as a powerful, free and open-source alternative for desktop GIS. Our recent Lunch & Learn sessions have been well attended, and many users are now incorporating QGIS into their everyday GIS workflows.
As a community-driven platform, QGIS thrives when users share knowledge, workflows, tips, and challenges. The Maine GIS User Group would like to build a dedicated QGIS Special Interest Group (SIG) to support collaboration, skill development, and problem-solving among users across the state.
