The Maine GIS User's Group will hold our Annual Meeting and Conference at Eastern Maine Technical College's Rangeley Hall in Bangor, Maine. This year the theme of our conference is the Technology of GIS. Our goal is to present to you the hot new topics in GIS--where is GIS headed and what that means for your applications.
PRESENTATIONS
This year we will have presentations from knowledgeable technical representatives of some of the major GIS software vendors. A parallel track will feature experts discussing how the new technologies effect applications. See Schedule below for topics, speakers and times. Presentations will include hands-on sessions.
POSTER DISPLAYS AND CONTEST
The conference will include a poster display area for users. For details and to reserve space, please contact:
Space is limited, and is available on a first come-first serve basis. An informal contest will be held by popular vote of attendees. PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED. The maximum size for posters is 36" x 48" (E), and entries are limited to one per attendee.
VENDOR DISPLAYS

EMTC's Rangeley Hall is conveniently located near Exit 49 (Hogan Road) in Bangor.
From the South: Take I-95 to Exit 49 (Hogan Road, Bangor Mall). Turn right onto Hogan Road at the lights. Take your next right on Sylvan Road. Follow Sylvan Road to the very end. Rangeley Hall will be on your left.
From the North: Take I-95 to Exit 49 (Hogan Road, Bangor Mall). Turn left onto Hogan Road at the lights. Cross over I-95. Take your next right on Sylvan Road. Follow Sylvan Road to the very end. Rangeley Hall will be on your left.
